I’m a product designer based in San Francisco.
My diverse background shapes my unique perspective and approach to design. With 8 years of experience spanning theatre consulting and life-science space design, I bring a distinct blend of creativity and functionality to my work. From designing immersive environments to crafting spaces that enhance productivity, I’ve developed a keen understanding of how design impacts human experience.
Now, I focus on creating products and digital experiences that are intuitive, purposeful, and user-centric. I believe in designing with empathy, ensuring that every interaction is seamless, efficient, and enjoyable. My goal is to craft products that resonate with users and elevate their everyday experiences.
As an active member of the Chinese Rainbow Network (CRN), I had the honor to be one of the planning leads for our organization’s San Francisco marching group in the 2024 SF Pride Parade. This year marked a special milestone for CRN, as we debuted our very first float, and I spearheaded the entire process—from concept to design, construction, and assembly.
Collaborating closely with CRN members, we ensured the float represented both our cultural heritage and our mission of inclusivity. It was something our group had envisioned for years, and seeing it come to life was incredibly fulfilling.
Our efforts were recognized when our marching group was honored with the ‘Best Marching Group’ Parade Award, one of five such awards given out of over 200 participating groups. After the parade, the CRN chairman told me, “The float was truly a wonderful surprise.” I couldn't be more proud to have contributed to our mission through the Pride Parade, helping to celebrate and bring visibility to our community.
Founded in 1996, CRN is the largest community organization for Chinese sexual and gender minorities outside of China. Its mission is to create a supportive, inclusive environment where Chinese LGBTQ+ individuals can find connection and belonging.
